Week 2 - Tuesday

The article assigned really had my attention. I now feel I know the difference between digital natives versus digital immigrants. I guess they named those two types of people so that anyone could understand the general/basic concept. I know people under both titles and I feel I am a little of both as well. I say this because I know some things about computers and the web, but I am always learning new things as well as most others do. I believe that even digital natives have some immigrant characteristics, since they web is constantly changing from day to day.

Week 1 - Thursday

Web 2.0 is a newer and more up to date version on Web 1.0. The websites are 2.0 are more involved and more complex. Interaction has really been a part in the updating of the web.

Week 1 - Tuesday

This class is going to teach me about specific programs and websites that will be very useful in my teaching career. I am excited about learning new hardware and software that is readily available for me. There are many skeptical ideas we will be discussing in this class, and I enjoy learning about these ideas and hearing from both sides of the argument in order for me to pick my own beliefs. I also like that this class is small and very interactive, group work and discussions will help me greatly in learning the material needed for class.
